When dating, when do you start to expect sex?

I would just like to know (preferably from a guy’s perspective) what comes into people’s mind during dating. Who actually does the 3rd date rule?

  1. My boyfriend suggested sex on our one month (but then, he wanted sex even before that). I wasn’t ready, and we waited till our 5 months. Totally worth the wait.

    hehe, just joking…

during the first dates, its normally just kissing… About a couple of weeks, (it really depends on the other person) thats when things start getting sexual..

  3. In my opinion, it depends on what the relationship was before the dating started. If you meet someone in a club, and then have a couple of dates, things can move pretty quickly. There is an excitement to the new relationship based on physical attraction. And in a way, our barriers to sex are lower when we are attracted to someone from the outset.

If sex doesn’t occur on the occasion of meeting (which if we are honest, happens a great deal) then at least the subject will be tackled on the 2nd or 3rd meeting.

If, however, you start dating a friend you have known for a period of time, the situation is slightly different. You like each other because you are friends already, but there is a hesitation because of this friendship - a fear of going too far and not being able to go back to the safe regularity of that. Sex between friends that date, in my opinion, will occur quite a while after it would between virtual strangers. But I believe this is just a consequence of the society we live in.
